Location: If you would like to visit us in person, our office is conveniently located in the former Umpqua/Columbia Bank building on Pacific Ave S., between 161st St S and 162nd St S. We are next to Black Bear Outpost, across the street from Crescent Realty, and just a couple of blocks from Lake Spanaway Golf Course. Look for the largest State Farm sign on Pacific Ave. You can't miss us! We offer ample parking, convenient access from 162nd St S, and we still utilize our drive-through window for added convenience.
About Me: I have proudly served as a State Farm Agent since 1993 and am now in my 33rd year helping residents, families, and business owners throughout Spanaway, Parkland, Tacoma, Puyallup, Graham, Roy, McKenna, and Lakewood, Washington. Before joining State Farm, I attended the University of Washington. GO DAWGS! My family has a long tradition of cheering on the Huskies, from me to my youngest grandson. Although my office manager Jan is a Michigan Wolverine, we've managed to keep things friendly over the years. I made the transition from the computer industry to State Farm because it gave me the opportunity to work more closely within my community and spend more time with my family while building relationships that truly matter.
I have been married to my wonderful wife Becky for 45 years, and together we have two adult children and six grandchildren who know me as Papa. Our family also includes two West Highland Terriers, Finnley and Oliver, who are beloved members of both our family and office team. When I'm not helping customers, I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, RVing, and spending time on the water. As an avid RVer and Past Commodore of the Tacoma Yacht Club, I have firsthand experience with RVs and boats and understand the unique coverage needs that come with those lifestyles. While we appreciate technology and the convenience it brings, we also believe there is no substitute for personal service and genuine human connection. Our office proudly serves customers in both English and Japanese.

Community Involvement: Being involved in our community has always been important to me. I coached Little League baseball for eight years and served as both a Little League Board Member and Coach. I have also served on the Boys and Girls Club Board and as a Past Commodore and Board Member of the Tacoma Yacht Club from 2008 to 2014. Our office proudly supports the Pierce County Humane Society, Junior Sailing programs, local schools, and I serve as an annual host of the WIAA State High School Basketball Championships. We have also been honored with appreciation and recognition awards from organizations including Gold Star Wives, JBLM, the 2nd Ranger Battalion, the U.S. Navy, Wounded Warriors, the Tacoma Youth Marine Foundation, the American Red Cross.
